Active Membership

Active Membership is recommended for Southern California locals who want access to:

  • In-person and/or online attendance at meetings including

    • live lecturers

    • in-person opportunity drawings

    • fossil auctions

    • in-person community building!

  • Attending field trips

  • A digital copy of the Society's bi-monthly Bulletin

  • Emails, newsletters, and updates on club activities

  • Vote and hold Board position

  • Online resources including

    • recordings of past lectures

    • member-only forum for discussing

    • past issues of the Bulletin

Persons aged 0-18 cannot join on their own. They must join with an active adult member.

Persons aged 13-18 must pay as active adult members if they are to attend any in person sessions or field trips.

Persons aged 0-12 are free but they must be associated with an active adult member.

All plans renew automatically on an annual basis.

Online Membership

Online Membership is recommended for anyone who wants access to

  • Online-only attendance for meetings

  • A digital copy of the Society's bi-monthly Bulletin

  • Emails, newsletters, and updates on club activities

  • Online resources including

    • recordings of past lectures

Library Membership is for those who only wish to receive a paper-copy of the Society's bi-monthly bulletin. There are no additional benefits associated with this membership.
